However, if we talk about vote share, then in the Lok Sabha elections, the vote percentage of BJP in Tamil Nadu was around 11.24% and that of AIADMK was around 20.46%. At the same time, DMK alone got 26.93% votes. In such a situation, BJP can benefit from the alliance with AIADMK for the assembly elections. BJP will get a chance to make inroads in different areas of Tamil Nadu and strengthen itself. If the government is formed in the state after an alliance with AIADMK, then the conflict between the BJP-led central government and the Tamil Nadu government will reduce.
