Don’t Play Dirty Politics Over Pahalgam Attack: Mayawati Slams SP, Congress

Lucknow: BSP supremo Mayawati has given a big statement regarding the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Without naming the leaders, she targeted Congress and SP leaders. Mayawati said- 'All parties should stand unitedly with the government in every step regarding the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and not do dirty politics under its guise through posters and statements etc., because this is creating confusion among the people, which is not good in the interest of the country.'

Let us tell you that 27 people were killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Among them is Kanpur-based businessman Shubham Dwivedi. A round of politics has also started in the country regarding the Pahalgam attack. Many leaders of Congress and SP have held the central government responsible for this.

'Bhimrao Ambedkar should also not be insulted at all'

Apart from the Pahalgam attack, Mayawati also attacked SP and Congress on the issue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. On her social media handle X, Mayawati has written - 'The creator of the Indian Constitution, the most revered Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar should also not be insulted at all. Especially SP and Congress should take special care of this, otherwise BSP can also take to the streets against them.'

Half of Baba Saheb's picture cut and Akhilesh's picture put

It is worth noting that there is an allegation that in the hoarding of Samajwadi Party, half of Baba Saheb's picture was cut and Akhilesh Yadav's picture was put in that part. Apart from BSP, BJP leaders have also expressed displeasure over this. Many leaders including Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Minister Asim Arun have strongly condemned it. BJP leaders also called the act of SP President Akhilesh Yadav extremely shameful. They reacted strongly and said that this is an insult to Baba Saheb and his followers.
