Lok Sabha uproar as Rahul Gandhi raises China issue, Rijiju objects

New Delhi: The Lok Sabha witnessed another major uproar over the China issue. As soon as the Lok Sabha proceedings began after 2 pm on Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of national security, referring to the book by former Army Chief General Naravane.

Referring to a quote from former Army Chief Manoj Naravane, he said, "I have raised the issue of national security." The ruling party questioned this, after which the uproar intensified. Opposition MPs asked why the Leader of the Opposition was not being allowed to speak. Following this, the Parliament proceedings were adjourned until 3 pm.

Speaking to reporters, Rahul Gandhi also criticized the Modi government over the US-India deal. Rahul Gandhi said that PM Modi was under considerable pressure from the US. PM Modi finally had to compromise with Trump. Rahul Gandhi said, "The India-US deal was stalled for four months; there has been no change in it. The government has sold out the hard work of the farmers." He also said that the issue in the Lok Sabha is not Naravane's statement, but the fact that for the first time, the opposition is not being allowed to speak in the House.

'Our Prime Minister has been compromised'

Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, "Prime Minister Modi is nervous. The trade deal that was stalled for four months, for some reason, Narendra Modi signed that deal last evening. Narendra Modi is under pressure, immense pressure. Narendra Modi's image bubble could burst. Our Prime Minister has been compromised. Who did it, how it was done, the people of the country have to think about this... There is a case against Adani in America. That case is not targeting Adani, but Narendra Modi's financial structure." There is more material in the Epstein files that has not yet been released.
