MK Stalin Distributes Welfare Aid Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, Reaffirms Support for Muslims

MK Stalin News: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has once again found a way to connect with his Muslim supporters. Stalin distributed welfare aid to Muslim families of his constituency ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr 2025. During this, he said, "I extend my best wishes to all the people present here. I have not come here to ask for votes for the upcoming elections; I have come here as a member of your family and have come to celebrate this festival with you. We will always stand to protect you (Muslims)."

Stalin further said, “We are organising such events to show that nobody can separate Muslims and DMK… Even since last August, we have been continuously raising our voice against the Wakf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. Even two days ago, we moved a separate resolution in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, demanding the withdrawal of the amendment that could betray Muslims.”

    We stand with Muslims

He further said, “Many Muslims across the world are congratulating us for this resolution. Even the Leader of Opposition Edappadi Palaniswami did not participate in this resolution. You know why… DMK is the only government that can stand for Muslims, whether we are in power or not. We will provide Muslims with what they need, like education and reservation.”

Tamil Nadu CM Stalin further said, “Every year we organize an event to greet and give gifts to Muslims on the occasion of Ramadan. I am grateful and honored to Sekar Babu and the administrators and Muslims for giving me the opportunity to participate in this event this year. I am happy to meet you when the Assembly session is going on and we have presented the financial report saying 'Everything for Everyone', which will lay a strong and grand foundation for the development of Tamil Nadu in the next five years. This Ramadan program 'Light up the world with love' has been happening for the last 10 years. It is a festival of love and brotherhood. Ramadan gifts have been given to 2,500 people.
