PM Modi Hails Mahakumbh as a Historic Milestone—Recalls 1857 War, Bhagat Singh & Dandi March

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi said today that many nectars have come out of Prayagraj Mahakumbh. Amrit of unity has been extracted from it. People from every region and every corner of the country came together in this event. People united from ego to we. PM Modi said in his speech in the Lok Sabha today that Mahakumbh is a capital to connect with heritage. Prime Minister Narendra Modi described Mahakumbh as an event of the people, inspired by the people and of the people. In the Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister expressed his views on the Maha Kumbh and said that in the Maha Kumbh we witnessed the huge form of national consciousness.

PM Modi targeted

While discussing the achievements of the Maha Kumbh, the PM also strongly attacked those elements who spoke negatively about the Maha Kumbh. Modi said that the successful organization of the Maha Kumbh has also given a proper answer to the doubts that some people have about our capabilities. The Prime Minister compared the Maha Kumbh to the milestones of Indian history. He said that such moments come in the life of every nation which become an example for centuries, for the generations to come. I see the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh as such a milestone in which the reflection of the country becoming aware is seen.

There is no discrimination between the small and the big in the Maha Kumbh

PM Modi said that the successful Maha Kumbh is an answer to those who question the Maha Kumbh. He said that there was no difference between the small and the big in the Maha Kumbh. PM Modi said that our unity is an important point in the era of disintegration. He said that the youth are adopting tradition and culture.

Kumbh of the collective consciousness of the country

PM Modi said that last year in the Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha ceremony of Ayodhya, we all realized how the country is getting ready for the next 1000 years. Exactly one year after this, this event of Maha Kumbh has strengthened this thought of all of us. This collective consciousness of the country shows the strength of the country. In the life of any nation, in the history of human life, there are many such turning points which become examples for centuries, for the generations to come. There have been such moments in the history of our country which gave a new direction to the country, shook the country and awakened it.

Mention of Vivekananda during Maha Kumbh

PM said in the Lok Sabha that during the period of Bhakti movement, we saw how spiritual consciousness emerged in every corner of the country. The speech given by Swami Vivekananda in Chicago a century ago was a proclamation of India's spiritual consciousness, it awakened the self-respect of Indians. The PM said that there were many such stages in our freedom movement. Be it the freedom struggle of 1857, the time of Veer Bhagat Singh's martyrdom, Netaji Subhash Babu's slogan of Delhi Chalo, Gandhiji's Dandi March - India achieved independence by getting inspiration from such stages. I also see Prayagraj Maha Kumbh as one such important stage in which the reflection of the awakening country is seen.
