Tension in US After India’s War Declaration Against Pakistan; Trump’s Envoy to Speak

Washington: Efforts have begun to stop India's attack on Pakistan. America has said that to stop the tension between the two countries, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio will talk to the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan over the phone. After the Pahalgam terrorist attack, there is a fear that India may attack Pakistan, which may start a war between the two countries. US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce has said on the question of reporters that "We are contacting both the sides and are definitely telling them not to escalate the situation further."

The US State Department spokesperson has said that "the (Foreign) Secretary hopes to speak to the foreign ministers of Pakistan and India today or tomorrow (according to US time)." He said, "They are also encouraging other national leaders, other foreign ministers to contact countries on this issue."
