Vijay Shah in Trouble: FIR Ordered in 4 Hours, MP BJP Reprimanded by Delhi High Command

The objectionable statement given by Tribal Minister Vijay Shah on Colonel Sophia Qureshi of the Indian Army has heated up the politics of Madhya Pradesh. Minister Vijay Shah has been reprimanded by the central leadership in this matter. After this he has also apologized. Trusted sources of BJP say that the BJP high command has reprimanded Minister Vijay Shah as well as State BJP President VD Sharma and Organization General Secretary Hitanand Sharma in this matter. The central leadership told both the leaders that why so much delay in taking action against the minister? The central leadership warned both the leaders and also said that in future if any leader makes statements deviating from the party line, it will not be tolerated. In such a situation, it is being speculated that Vijay Shah may resign from the post of minister soon.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh High Court has taken a tough stand on a controversial statement of Shah. The court has taken suo motu cognizance of the statement given about Colonel Sophia Qureshi and directed to register an FIR against Vijay Shah within 4 hours. Opposition party Congress has intensified the demand for resignation of Vijay Shah. Seeing the aggressive stance of Congress and public displeasure, now BJP is in defensive mode. After the party's embarrassment due to the controversial statement of Minister Shah, the party has intensified efforts for damage control.

Vijay Shah was summoned to the state party headquarters

After the statement, Vijay Shah was summoned to the state party headquarters on Tuesday. After this, he apologized for the statement in front of the media. BJP State President VD Sharma says that Minister Vijay Shah has been counseled. The party leadership has taken cognizance of this matter and he has been warned. Sophia Qureshi is the daughter of this country and the whole country salutes the valor she has done. However, the party president did not say anything on the question of Vijay Shah's resignation. After the instructions of Vishnudutt Sharma, BJP leaders including former MLA Manvendra Singh reached the house of Colonel Sophia Qureshi in Naugaon Chhatarpur and met the family members. During this, BJP leaders said that Sophia is the daughter of our country and we are proud of her.

Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar has surrounded CM Dr. Mohan Yadav regarding Vijay Shah's statement. He said that Jabalpur High Court has ordered to register an FIR against Minister Vijay Shah, but the Chief Minister is silent about the entire incident. As his name is, 'Mohan' is as 'silent'. State Congress President Jeetu Patwari said, a complaint has been lodged against Minister Vijay Shah in Shyamala Hills police station of Bhopal. The police have taken the complaint into action. Congress will not tolerate the insult of the army at any cost.

In this case, National Women's Commission Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar wrote on X - It is extremely unfortunate that some responsible persons are making such statements which are insulting and unacceptable to women. This not only hurts the dignity of women in our society, but is also an insult to the daughters of the nation who are playing an important role in the security of the country.

Dear Colonel Sophia Qureshi is a proud daughter of this nation, a sister of all country-loving Indians, who has served the country with courage and dedication. It is the responsibility of all of us to respect her hard work, dedication and leadership ability. The whole country is proud of brave women like Colonel Sophia and such derogatory statements towards them should be strongly condemned. Everyone is appealed to adopt respectful language and attitude towards women in public life. Underestimating the participation and contribution of women is not only unacceptable but also an obstacle in the development of the country.

The court said that FIR should be registered within four hours

The Jabalpur High Court has taken a tough stand on a controversial statement of Madhya Pradesh government minister Vijay Shah. The court has ordered the government to register an FIR within 4 hours. This order has been given by the division bench of Justice Atul Shridharan and Justice Anuradha Shukla taking suo motu cognizance. The court has directed the government to register an FIR and submit a report by 6:00 pm.
