Bihar Elections Shocker! 41% Support Tejashwi for CM—Warning for Nitish Kumar?

Elections are going to be held in Bihar after a few months. In such a situation, there is only one question in everyone's mind that who will be the CM? The opposition repeatedly claims that BJP will not make Nitish Kumar CM again. But BJP has clearly said that Nitish Kumar will be the Chief Minister in Bihar. However, the survey that has come out now is pointing towards the alarm bells for Nitish Kumar. According to this survey of CVoter, 41 percent of the people of Bihar prefer Tejashwi Yadav, while only 18 percent people want Nitish Kumar to become the Chief Minister again.

According to the survey, Nitish Kumar's popularity has declined drastically. 58 percent people believe that Nitish Kumar's credibility has decreased a lot. 13 percent said that his credibility has decreased to some extent, while 21 percent said that they have not seen any decrease in the credibility of the Chief Minister. Nitish Kumar is not the first choice of most of the people involved in the survey. According to this report shown on India Today TV, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has emerged as the most preferred face for the post of CM in Bihar. When the people involved in the survey were asked about their first choice, 15 percent said Prashant Kishore, founder of Jan Suraj, was their choice, while 8 percent people considered BJP's Samrat Chaudhary and 4 percent considered Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ram Vilas) president Chirag Paswan right for the post of Chief Minister.

50 percent people are angry with the government

The most important thing is that about 50 percent people said that they are angry with the current government and want change, while 22 percent people said that they are angry, but do not want change. At the same time, 25 percent of the people say that they are neither angry nor want any change. Although the survey does not say which party will win how many seats, but Nitish Kumar's declining popularity is not a good sign for him. Interestingly, a C-Voter survey released after the Delhi Assembly election results had predicted that the NDA would get almost all the seats in the Lok Sabha. This survey said that the NDA could win 33 to 35 seats out of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

What is the condition of the opposition?

On the other hand, this survey has predicted that the opposition 'Mahagathbandhan', which includes Congress and RJD, will get only 5-7 Lok Sabha seats. In the last assembly elections, RJD emerged as the largest party by winning 75 out of 243 seats. BJP, which won 74 seats, eventually formed the government with Nitish Kumar-led JD (U), which won 43 seats. Congress won 19 seats in the 2020 elections while LJP had to be content with just 1 seat.

What is the biggest issue?

When people were asked what is the biggest issue for them, most people mentioned unemployment. 45 percent of the people believed that unemployment is going to be the biggest issue in this election and most of the voting will be on that. After this, there were 11% who called inflation the biggest issue, 10% people talked about electricity, water and roads, only 4% people want to vote on issues related to farmers and corruption. The results of the survey have come at a time when Nitish has expanded his cabinet and made 7 BJP MLAs ministers. Bihar assembly elections are expected to be held in October-November this year. NDA has already announced that it will contest the elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
