Lucknow: The Waqf Amendment Bill has been passed by the Parliament yesterday i.e. on Thursday. The NDA allies supported this bill, including Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Jayant Chaudhary, who is considered a Jat leader of Uttar Pradesh. After the passing of the bill, while there was a ruckus in JDU yesterday, today there was also resentment among Muslim leaders in Rashtriya Lok Dal. RLD State General Secretary Shahzeb Rizvi has resigned from the party. He has made many serious allegations against the party. Apart from this, Hapur District Chief General Secretary Mohammad Zaki has also resigned.
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) state general secretary Shahzeb Rizvi has opposed the policies of Jayant Chaudhary. He said that these policies are against the Muslim community. Shahzeb Rizvi alleged that Jayant Chaudhary has betrayed Muslims by supporting the Waqf Bill. Shahzeb Rizvi said that Muslims voted a lot for Jayant Chaudhary, but he supported the Waqf Bill. This is against the sentiments and rights of Muslims.
He also said that Jayant Chaudhary used to call himself a secular leader, but now he has betrayed Muslims. According to Rizvi, Jayant's policies are against the interest of the community. Muslims had voted for him in large numbers, but instead of standing with them, he supported the Waqf Bill, this is against our sentiments and rights. Hapur district chief Zaki Gauhari is also angry with this issue. He has written a letter and submitted his resignation. This has created a stir in RLD.
While RLD state general secretary Shahzeb Rizvi resigned in protest against the Waqf Amendment Bill, on the other hand, district chief general secretary Mohammad Zaki from Hapur has also resigned from the party. Zaki has been associated with RLD for a long time. His resignation is considered a big loss for the party. He has made several allegations against party leader Jayant Chaudhary. Zaki accused the party of breaking promises. He also said that Jayant Chaudhary had promised honest politics, but now the party has forgotten everything in the greed for power.
