    Yogi Adityanath’s Anguish at Shubham’s Martyrdom: “This Is Not Tolerable”

    CM Yogi Adityanath condemned the Pahalgam attack, calling it intolerable. Martyr Shubham Dwivedi's funeral held with state honors in Kanpur, emotional farewell by family and villagers.

    Yogi Adityanath’s Anguish at Shubham’s Martyrdom: “This Is Not Tolerable”

     The body of Shubham Dwivedi, who was killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, reached his native village Hathipur on Wednesday night. Shubham was cremated in a sombre atmosphere at midnight. Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak paid tribute at Amausi airport, after which it was decided to give the last farewell with state honors.


    Sumit Sharma, Kanpur: Shubham Dwivedi was killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. Shubham's body reached his ancestral home Hathipur village at around 2 o'clock on Wednesday night. At midnight, family members, relatives and a large number of villagers were waiting for Shubham's body. When the ambulance siren was heard breaking the silence, there was a lot of screaming. When the ambulance stopped outside the house, the family started crying. The whole village was shaken by the screaming. The family members somehow managed to take care of Shubham's father. CM Yogi Adityanath has also reached here to pay tribute and meet the family.


    CM Yogi said- The terrorist attack that happened with the tourists in Pahalgam Kashmir on 22nd April. A young man from a family of Kanpur has become the victim of the terrorist attack. Shubham Dwivedi, whose marriage had taken place just two months ago. The terrorist attack here in Pahalgam is a cruel, gruesome, cowardly act. Every civilized society of the country and the world has condemned this incident. This incident tells that terrorism is now taking its last breath. Attacking innocent tourists, asking their caste and religion and removing their vermilion in front of Hindu sisters and daughters. No civilized society can accept this at all.


    Amidst the anger of the people and sloganeering against Pakistan, the CM said- The Indian government's policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism will effectively destroy terrorism. Now the process of putting the last nail on its coffin has begun. The decisions taken under the chairmanship of the PM. The Home Minister himself visited the place. Along with the future strategy, the whole of India is moving forward with the policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism.


    Controlling his emotions, CM Yogi said- I have met the family of Shubham Dwivedi. The acts committed by the terrorists. Similarly, the terrorists and their masters will definitely get punishment for it. All the countrymen should trust the PM. Our government stands with the victim's family. Our double engine government knows how to deal with such barbaric and inhuman incidents. The poisonous fangs will be crushed. Every person will see the result of the incident.


    The tears of the women of the family were not stopping. Shubham's grandmother is in shock due to the death of her beloved grandson. Crying, she said that God took away the daughter-in-law's husband in two months. When the family members took the coffin out of the ambulance, the eyes of everyone present there became moist. Grandmother, aunt, aunt, maternal aunt all started crying while hugging the dead body. After this, the body was kept in a deep freezer.


    The body was brought by making a green corridor


    Cabinet Minister Rakesh Sachan, Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay came along with the ambulance from Amausi Airport. The ministers paid tribute to Shubham and consoled the family members. Shubham's body was sent to Kanpur late night from Amausi Airport by making a green corridor in an ambulance with a convoy of 14 vehicles. Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak reached the airport and paid tribute to the deceased.


    Final farewell will be given with respect


    In the Pahalgam terror attack, terrorists shot Shubham Dwivedi in the head and killed him. Shubham will be given a final farewell with full respect. For this, the district administration and the commissionerate police have made full preparations. Shubham's last rites will be performed at Deodi Ghat. It has been decided to give a final farewell with state honors.
