“You Can’t Change India!” Mamata’s Bold Eid Speech to PM Modi

After the violence in Bengal over the Waqf Bill, Mamata Banerjee has come under the target of BJP. Now Mamata Banerjee has retaliated. During the meeting with the maulanas, she said that PM Modi cannot change India. We will not let Hindus become Muslim. The West Bengal CM said that BJP is polarizing Bengal. Giving a controversial statement, she said that every year I offer namaz. Mamata Banerjee said that every year I go to Red Road to offer namaz on Eid.

What did Mamata Banerjee say in the meeting

In the meeting of clerics and maulanas at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee said that we believe in Sarvadharma Sambhav. I believe in Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Swami Vivekananda. I request you not to create unrest in Bengal by getting provoked by the rhetoric of BJP. She said that how many youths have got jobs from the central government? The prices of medicines, petrol and diesel have been increased, but some 'media' only speak against Bengal. If you have something to say, come and say it in front of me, not behind me. She alleged that some media channels funded by the BJP show fake videos of Bengal. They showed 8 videos from Karnataka, UP, Bihar and Rajasthan and tried to defame Bengal.

    TMC not involved in violence

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee rejected the opposition's claim that the TMC was involved in the Waqf violence. In a strong statement, she argued that if her party was responsible, the houses of TMC leaders would not have been targeted. Mamata stressed that her government has always stood against the Waqf Amendment Act and is committed to addressing the concerns of the Muslim community. She called for peace and accused the opposition of creating division through misinformation.

    Mamata Banerjee meets clerics

As protests against the Waqf Amendment Act intensified, top Muslim clerics met West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata to express their concerns. The leaders called the law imposed and unjust and demanded its withdrawal. Former TMC MP Ahmed Hassan Imran said no Muslim supported the bill. Meanwhile, three people died in unrest in Murshidabad, leading to heavy security deployment. The BJP accused the Trinamool Congress of supporting the protesters, while the police claimed the situation was now under control.
